Recent Work
As a Senior Product Designer for Workday Everywhere (WE) - a team dedicated to designing and building external integrations - I design the dashboards in the Workday for Teams and Workday for Slack apps. Below, you’ll see a snapshot of a couple projects I led that are illustrative of my design process.
Interactive Calendar
I led the redesign of a bespoke calendar to showcase important dates and deadlines to our end users in a delightful, clear and scalable way. This highly creative, iterative, collaborative and ultimately successful projects showcases the kinds of projects I thrive in and enjoy most.
Career & Performance Dashboard
I led a design and research exploration looking into how our largest user population (individual contributors) would benefit from access to career and performance tasks, information and data. This project is a great example of the way I use information gathering and synthesis to create designs that resonate with end users.
Past Work
Below, you’ll find a collection of case studies from past work during my time as a hybrid designer and researcher, both professionally and during my graduate program.
Cross Product Experiences (2019 - 2021)
When I joined Workday, I started out on the design system team with a focus on cross-product patterns and framework. This work required holistic, systems thinking and impacted the entire product. In this case study, you’ll find a high level overview of some of the projects I worked on and the lessons I learned along the way.
Workday Internship (Summer 2018)
As an intern on the Center of Excellence team at Workday, my internship project focused on redesigning the Workday Playbook: a resource that contains design thinking techniques to empower Workday employees across disciplines to incorporate these techniques into their work. Through this project I utilized my skills in both UX research and design to gather insights and apply them to a re-design of the playbook.
Graduate Program Thesis (2019)
While getting my MA in Information Management and Systems, I completed a thesis project in which I served as UX designer and researcher on a cross-functional team. I designed an app which aimed to enhance the relationship and care between animals and their guardians as well as improve access to animal related information.
Hackathons and competitions (2017 - 2018)
During my time in graduate school, I participated in a number of hackathons and design competitions in order to gather more experience outside of the academic context. My projects ranged from crafting marketing materials for a local coffee shop to designing out a mental health tool.
